Concrete Jungle Chic

There is absolutely positively no other gal that can work her Manolos down the streets of the Upper East Side quite like the fabulous Carrie Bradshaw! Sarah Jessica Parker’s Sex and the City character has strutted her fashionable self into our hearts from the very first time we laid eyes on her shoe collection. Her wonderful way with words, and her undeniably amazing style have made Carrie Bradshaw one of NYC’s most iconic personas. Très chic, Carrie!

Talk about picture perfect! Bachelor Pad power couple Kiptyn Locke and Tenley Molzahn tweeted this adorable photo collage a few weeks ago of their mini-golfing goof-off with a couple of winning bidders. Looks like another hole-in-one for good, and good fun!

If there’s one housewife we’d love to have a gabfest with, it’s Gabrielle Solis! For the past 8 seasons, the wacky antics of the spoiled but lovable Gabby on ABC’s Desperate Housewives have kept us wildly entertained and desperately hanging on to every single feisty one-liner she throws at us! The show may have bid its audience farewell last week, but it’s safe to say we’ll be missing this Wisteria Lane woman’s model behavior!

Vogue- Glee (Madonna Cover)

The smell of failure is certainly NOT coming from Sue Sylvester’s fabulous rendition of Madonna’s classic hit. Donning her characteristic sweatsuits and armed with quick quips that make for sidesplitting one-liners, Sue keeps it incredibly and hysterically real as she ego-trips her way through the hallways of McKinley High.

“For now, Dick Clark, so long…”
The world bid farewell to an American cultural icon today, as television host Dick Clark passed away today at the age of 82. Known for his game-changing contributions to pop culture as host of American Bandstand, and a New Years staple as the host of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, Clark has found his way into the households and hearts of generations after generations. America’s Oldest Teenager, you will be missed. RIP.

Who doesn’t love a little weekend update from SNL’s resident Travel expert Judy Grimes?! (just kidding…but not really). Kristen Wiig is at the top of her comedy game right now, and we are always excited to see what wacky characters she’ll roll out with next!

Those of you going mad over the dry spell that’s hit Madison Avenue won’t need to wait much longer, because the Season 5 premiere of AMC’s Mad Men is only a few short days away! So start your countdown (if you haven’t already) and get suited up to step into Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce with Don Draper and the crew!

The Business Of Giving: Vincent D’Onofrio of “Criminal Intent” to Auction Acting Lessons for a Great Cause (via Minyanville)

Law & Order Criminal Intent’s Vincent D’Onofrio may only play a cop on TV, but his advocacy of law enforcement doesn’t end there—Vincent is a huge supporter of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, and he’s helping his cause by auctioning off acting lessons with him to raise funds! Check out his interview, here!

“I’ve been involved in law enforcement stuff for years now…I think that because I ended up meeting so many law enforcers — local, all over the country, all over the world actually — I started to know a lot about the behind the scenes kind of stuff with their jobs. They’re not the type of people to ask for help…I just think it’s important that we do this for everybody and try to help out.”
