Between the space battles of Star Wars and the ancient adventures of Indiana Jones, the heroes that Harrison Ford lends his persona to certainly see a lot of action! As two of his most famous movie roles of all-time, Ford’s depictions of Han Solo in the Star Wars trilogy and Indiana Jones in the self-titled movies have become pop icons in Hollywood history, and movie geeks old and young can’t deny the magnetism of a guy like Harrison, who doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty to keep things exciting.

We can hear the Star Wars theme song ringing in our ears just by reading those words! The Star Wars franchise is, to this day, a worldwide pop culture phenomenon that all started with a boy named Luke Skywalker, on the quest to help Princess Leia, and realize his destiny. Watching Skywalker harness the power of the force, become a jedi and take down the empire is just as exciting each and every time for the true Star Wars buff, and there’s no doubt that Luke Skywalker is one of pop history’s most admired heroes.

May the force be with the winner of lunch with the man behind the young jedi, Mark Hamill, in California, with proceeds going to the RFK Center! We’re sure he won’t hold it against you if you just can’t resist reliving old memories and uttering, “Luke, I am your lunch date!”
